Homemade Tea

Last summer, my girlfriend, Rebekah, hooked me up with a split from her spearmint plant, which we planted in our garden. A couple of weeks ago, the kids and I were out there taming the runners (as it spreads like crazy) and dried what we had cut off. We simply rinsed the leaves/stems, spread them out on a cookie sheet, placed a piece of paper towel over it, and let them dry on the top of one of my cupboards. Then last night, I whizzed them up in my mini food processor and made my first cup of homemade spearmint tea. It was really yummy!

I'd love to get my hands on some peppermint!
