Kid Project #4

This year, Arianna has joined a Christian girl-scout-type group at church called G.L.O.W. Girls (girls lighting our world). They get together during the school year to do all sorts of projects that encourage femininity. Well... coming up in October is a project using pressed flowers.

This afternoon we picked flowers from grandma's garden. Here's our supplies:

Here's what we picked:

The kids helped pull petals, cut greens off the flowers, and lay the flowers out on paper.

Here's some of the leftovers we placed in some water and are now using as a centerpiece.

It's now pressing.

Can't wait to see what the girls are doing with their dried flowers!
