Quick Fresh Tomato Sauce

I've recently been inundated with tomatoes from friends who have surpluses from their garden. What to do? What to do?
Then I checked out my sister's blog and found this recipe. So easy and so good!

*I think this recipe would also be good served as Bruschetta
*If you like a thicker sauce, just add some tomato paste & sugar to taste

Last night, we used the leftovers of this sauce as bruschetta and it was wonderful! I simply toasted (at 400F) sandwich bread/leftover hot dog buns seasoned with butter, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese. Wow! Yummy! Even my "I don't like tomatoes" kids devoured it like it was going out of style.
