An unconventional breakfast

Arianna chose breakfast this morning and this is what she came up with: pound cake and banana slices drizzled with chocolate syrup. Atypical, but yummy nonetheless.

She's actually becoming quite a chef here lately. She comes up with all kinds of ideas and recipes for meals and snacks. Her next recipe is some sort of baked smore's thing. Let you know how it turns out.

Looks good! But I was expecting a recipe for a salmon and asparagus omelet! :)

No no, it was lobster. Here's a recipe for it that sounds pretty close:

The grilled asparagus was simply placed on the top of the omelet. It wasn't actually in it.

Wonder if my family would actually eat it? Oh, it was so good!

There's also this recipe which you can prepare ahead the night before and bake the next morning:

Not quite an omelet, but a good substitute.
