More food! :-)

Sicky-Time Soup
Serves: 10
1 lb. pork sausage
3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced
1/2 onion, chopped
Combine the above ingredients. Cook until sausage is no longer pink. Drain grease.
Add the following:
approx. 6-8 cups water
1 carrot sliced
handful: frozen peas and corn
1/4 head shredded cabbage
spices: basil, oregano, rosemary, garlic salt (I just estimated)
salt & pepper to taste
Bring to a boil, then simmer until carrots and cabbage are tender.
Then add:
1-1/2 cups cooked macaroni noodles

Mock Pie Filling Dessert
Serves: 6
2 pears (with skin), chopped
2 apples (with skin), chopped
splash of lime juice
2 Tbl. lemon juice
2 Tbl. demerara (or honey)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Would be amazing with mini marshmallows and walnut pieces! Maybe then I could entitle this dish as a Mel-dorf Salad. LOL
